What We Offer
Stepping Stones Private Day Nursery aims to equip children through four stages of development from babyhood to infant school.
Stage One: Babies
The objectives for the 'babies' are to keep them safe, warm and contented in a bright, homely, caring and stimulating environment. A true home from home where sensory opportunities and experiences are offered both indoors and outdoors.
The babies are also encouraged to learn through play.
Stage Two: Toddlers
The babies are then transfered to our 'toddlers' group where the objectives are to stimulate and encourage learning through play, with all the many activities we have on offer. These combine to achieve independence, self-confidence and the ability to share.
Stage Three: Three Plus
The third group becomes our 'three plus' and are already well equipped to further expand and develop to their full potential. Free expression, together with structural guidance and encouragement, brings the ability to reason, creating a happy and secure environment to which the children will wish to contribute.
Rising 5's
The fourth group becomes our 'rising fives'. We continue to expand and develop the children, providing learning and play opportunities which will meet the 6 areas of the early learning goals including introducing them to computer skills and the joy of books.
